James Glew is a musician and synth enthusiast with a penchant for ethereal electronica you can party to, prioritising originality and feeling. James’ compositions are inspired by the rhythms of nature and the beauty found in unusual places. James’s live performances are created on the spot, live from an array of synthesisers and samplers.

James has been creating music since the days of Smiley Face t-shirts, but don’t worry; the portrait is kept safe somewhere…

Previous projects have included Sheffield-based group Outsect, Dan Tian and Dirty Blue Gene, with performances at the Sheffield Octagon supporting Carl Cox, and over 1.8 million units released on CD and vinyl as well as national television and radio airplay.

Now based in Derby, where James hosts the monthly EMOM (Electronic Music Open Mic) sessions at Dubrek Studios, James continues to compose, produce, perform, remix and mix.
