Hailing from Lincolnshire, duo The Rye Sisters perform a heady mix of country, old-time and bluegrassy numbers from upbeat dancing tunes to mournful ballads, all in close harmony to guitar and fiddle. In December 2023, they released their latest album ‘Distant Light’, hailed by FATEA records as a “terrific discovery” and by Americana UK as “full of intrigue and satire, heartache and resilience”.
